"Agents of Climate" is a spatial installation by Manuela Pauk that uses earthen coins made of clay, soil, and seeds with insect motifs to question the value of nature and the invisible labor of plants and insects in sustaining life. Local community members participated in the creation of the coins for a Mediterranean garden, making the work both collective and ecological. Sara Renar created the sound component of the installation, composed of exclusively insect recordings modified to mimic machine sounds, emphasizing the tension between the natural and the artificial.
