It is certainly worth mentioning that Simović received significant help in realizing his ideas from Vedran Peternel, who masterfully worked with him on the arrangements, as well as from Ivan Grobenski and Simović’s girlfriend, singer-songwriter Sara Renar. Čar-pitanje is a collection of truly beautiful songs, yet interestingly, it could also function as an instrumental album precisely because of its outstanding arrangements. Likewise, the songs could stand on their own as a poetry collection without accompanying music. There is no doubt that Dimitrije Simović is an exceptionally gifted and talented musician, and with this album, he has embarked on a new career path, seamlessly connecting dream pop, chamber pop, and ambient indie, while skillfully elevating the genre with his compositional prowess. – Dubravko Jagatić for Nacional
